Abstract: The present system discloses an IoT-Enabled Smart Agriculture System with Machine Learning-Based Crop Disease Prediction and Automated Irrigation Control for precision farming applications. The proposed framework integrates IoT-based environmental sensing, edge computing, artificial intelligence, and automated irrigation to improve crop productivity while reducing water consumption. Real-time data from soil moisture, temperature, humidity, pH, weather stations, and crop imaging devices are aggregated through IoT gateways. A hybrid CNN-XGBoost machine learning model predicts crop diseases using environmental parameters and leaf images, while a Reinforcement Learning-based irrigation optimization engine determines optimal irrigation schedules based on soil conditions, weather forecasts, crop growth stages, and disease severity. Edge computing enables low-latency analytics, and cloud-based model updates ensure continuous learning and scalability. Experimental validation demonstrates high disease prediction accuracy, significant water savings, improved crop yield, and superior performance compared with conventional methods. The invention provides an intelligent, scalable, and sustainable precision agriculture solution suitable for modern smart farming ecosystems.
