Abstract: ABSTRACT IoT-Enabled Self-Powered Smart Road with Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting The present invention relates to an IoT-enabled self-powered smart road system (100) configured to convert mechanical pressure and vibration produced by moving vehicles into usable electrical energy. A plurality of piezoelectric energy harvesting sensors (101) embedded beneath a road surface generate AC electrical output, which is converted into DC through a bridge rectifier (102), smoothed by a filter capacitor (103), conditioned by a power-conditioning circuit (104), and stored in a 12V rechargeable battery (105). An ESP32 microcontroller (107) receives measurements from a piezoelectric voltage sensor (108) and battery voltage sensor (109) to intelligently manage charging and operation of a load (106), including a street lamp, traffic indicator or monitoring device. The ESP32 (107) communicates wirelessly through a Wi-Fi interface (110) with a Blynk IoT application (111) for real-time monitoring, status reporting and fault/low-battery alerts. The system enables localized renewable energy generation and smart energy management for road infrastructure. Figure-1
