Abstract: The present invention relates to an IoT enabled RFID-based library book tracking and cloud notification system and method configured to provide real-time monitoring, identification, and management of library resources through an integrated device-centric architecture. The system comprises a plurality of RFID tag elements affixed to library books, a plurality of shelf-integrated RFID reader units having antenna arrays for non-line-of-sight detection, processing units configured to decode and filter tag response signals, communication units for transmitting processed data over wireless networks, and at least one gateway unit for aggregating and synchronizing data. A remote server including a processor and memory is configured to map identification values to library records, determine spatial location of books using signal strength parameters and reader positioning, and update a real-time inventory database.
