Abstract: The present invention discloses the development of a machine learning framework that makes use of IoT technology in predicting the early onset of breast cancer via medical image processing. The proposed framework involves the incorporation of IoT-enabled medical imaging tools, secure data acquisition tools, image preprocessing tools, feature extraction methods, and machine learning models in the automatic interpretation of breast images. The medical images such as mammography and ultrasound images are acquired using connected imaging equipment and then transferred to a processing facility where they undergo processes such as noise removal, contrast enhancement, segmentation, and identification of the region of interest. The deep learning and machine learning models analyze the extracted features of the images to determine any abnormal tissue formations and classify the lesions as benign or malignant. FIG.1
