Abstract: IoT enabled intelligent solar still system for real-time water purification and performance optimization Abstract: The present invention relates to an Internet of Things (IoT) Enabled Smart Solar Still for Water Purification. The invention integrates solar thermal desalination with IoT technology to produce potable water from saline, brackish, and contaminated water sources. The system comprises a thermally insulated basin, an inclined transparent glass cover, a condensate collection channel, an IoT controller, multiple environmental and water-quality sensors, a wireless communication module, a cloud server, and a solar photovoltaic power supply. The IoT controller continuously monitors basin water temperature, glass cover temperature, ambient temperature, humidity, solar radiation, water level, pH, and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and transmits the acquired data to a cloud platform through wireless communication. Users can remotely monitor system performance using a mobile application or web dashboard.
