Abstract: ABSTRACT IoT-Enabled Intelligent Hazard Mitigation System for Overhead Low-Voltage AC Distribution Lines The present invention relates to an IoT-enabled intelligent hazard mitigation system for detecting and isolating hazardous conditions in overhead low-voltage AC distribution lines. The system comprises a plurality of pole-wise sensing units (105, 112, 113), each having a voltage sensor (106), current sensor (107), tilt sensor (108), microcontroller (109), wireless transceiver (110) and power supply (111). The sensing units continuously monitor voltage, current and physical inclination of corresponding line sections and identify abnormal conditions through programmed analysis. Fault information is wirelessly transmitted (115) to a transformer-side control and isolation unit (116) comprising a receiving wireless transceiver (117), microcontroller (118) and actuator driver (119). Upon confirmation of a hazardous condition, a servo motor actuator (121) operates an existing manual isolator (122) to automatically isolate and de-energize the affected line. A GSM module (120) subsequently transmits a location-specific alert (123) to a concerned person, thereby enabling rapid maintenance response and improved public safety. Figure-1
