Abstract: ABSTRACT IOT-ENABLED DUAL-CHAMBER AUTOMATED SMART COMPOSTER FOR DOMESTIC ORGANIC WASTE RECYCLING The present invention discloses A.S.C.O.R.N. (Automated Smart Composter for Organic Recycling and Nourishment), an IoT-enabled automated domestic composting apparatus for converting organic kitchen waste into stabilized compost. The apparatus comprises a cylindrical SS304 stainless steel housing divided by a Perforated Interface Plate (112) into an upper Shredding Chamber (106) with Serrated Shredding Blades (109) driven by a Worm Gear Motor (103), and a lower Decomposer Chamber (113) with Mixing Blades (117) for biological processing. Precision moisture regulation is achieved through an Ultrasonic Mist Injection Nozzle (120) generating 1 to 5 micron micro-droplets, eliminating fluid channelling associated with conventional sprinklers. Thermal management is provided by a self-regulating PTC Heating Element (128). A Diaphragm Pump (129) dispenses microbial inoculant for biological acceleration. A multi-sensor array comprising Temperature Probe (114), Capacitive Moisture Sensor Probe (115), Gas Sensor MQ-135 (121), and Ultrasonic Level Sensor (107) feeds an ESP32-based IoT Control Unit (118) for closed-loop control and wireless user monitoring. The modular architecture enables independent chamber detachment for hygiene maintenance, and the system is suitable for compact indoor domestic installation. [
