Abstract: ABSTRACT IOT-ENABLED CBDC WALLET WITH OFFLINE TRANSACTION AND BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION The present invention relates to an IoT- enabled central bank digital currency mobile wallet system (100) comprising an IoT biometric authentication module (110) with fingerprint and voice recognition for wallet access, an offline transaction module (120) enabling cryptographically signed peer-to-peer CBDC transfers without internet connectivity, a double-spend prevention module (130) employing commitment hash mechanisms with monotonically increasing sequence numbers to prevent token reuse, an automatic synchronisation module (140) for transmitting accumulated offline records to the central CBDC ledger upon connectivity restoration with commitment hash reconciliation, a central CBDC ledger interface (150) for secure ledger communication, and a user interface module (160) with visual and audio guidance for low- digital-literacy users. The invention addresses connectivity dependency of conventional digital payment systems, enabling CBDC adoption in rural and remote populations. [
