Abstract: Abstract The system uses advanced loT technology to automate the real-time detection and recognition of vehicle license plates. The system incorporates high- resolution cameras and sensors with loT connectivity modules to collect vehicle images and relay the data to a 5 central computer for analysis. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) techniques are used to precisely identifY and interpret license plates, even under difficult situations such as poor illumination or inclement weather. The collected data is processed and archived for further analysis, facilitating applications in traffic control, security surveillance, toll collecting, and fleet monitoring. The system using cloud computing to provide scalability and remote access 10 to real-time data, making it suitable for urban smart transportation infrastructure. The automation of vehicle identification minimises human error, increases operational efficiency, and delivers quick insights for enhancing traffic management, improving security, and facilitating more efficient transportation systems. The loT -enabled method provide seamless integration with current infrastructure, promoting the evolution of smart, interconnected 15 urban settings.
