Abstract: IoT-Enabled Automated Pet Feeding Apparatus with Conditional Fire Hazard Response System This invention describes an IoT- enabled automated pet feeding apparatus integrated with conditional fire hazard detection and emergency response functionality. The system is configured to operate exclusively upon concurrent verification of three conditions: confirmed presence of a fire hazard through multi-sensor fusion incorporating flame, smoke, thermal, and particulate monitoring; confirmed presence of a pet through RFID identification, load-based weight sensing, or thermal profiling; and verified absence of human supervision through PIR motion detection and AI-based camera analysis. Upon activation, the apparatus dispenses a high-calorie, stress-calming emergency diet along a calculated safe egress path, guiding the pet toward safety while simultaneously sealing food and water reserves against smoke infiltration. Multi-channel alerts are transmitted to the owner via Wi-Fi, GSM, and LoRa, and a hybrid lithium-ion and supercapacitor backup system ensures operational continuity during power outages. The invention thereby provides a coordinated survival framework for unattended pets during fire emergencies.
