Abstract: An electrical energy monitoring system comprises an incoming meter (101), branch meters (102), a gateway (110), a validation and reconciliation engine (120), an evidence store (130), a metric processor (140) and a reporting interface (150). Cumulative meter readings are authenticated, deduplicated and aligned into common intervals using versioned meter configurations. Incoming energy is reconciled with a non-overlapping branch-energy sum and configured loss and tolerance parameters. Failed intervals trigger requests for historical endpoint recovery and remain separately identified until resolved. Eligible measured energy is aggregated with coverage information and source-record references. The metric processor associates imported energy with versioned emission factors to produce traceable estimates. Corrections preserve earlier records and create linked versions. The system supports corporate facility energy monitoring and evidence-based environmental reporting.
