Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a wearable system (100) for avalanche victim detection comprises a wearable unit (101) having an ESP32 microcontroller (102), GPS module (103), MPU6050 motion sensor (104), BMP280 pressure sensor (105), LoRa module (106), and battery (107). The GPS module (103) provides user location and retains a last known location upon signal loss. The MPU6050 motion sensor (104) detects abnormal motion, while the BMP280 pressure sensor (105) provides pressure information for identifying possible snow burial and estimating approximate burial depth. The ESP32 microcontroller (102) correlates GPS status, motion, and pressure information to identify a critical danger condition. Emergency information is transmitted through the LoRa module (106) to a remote receiver unit (108) having a second ESP32 microcontroller (109), second LoRa module (110), and buzzer (111). Processed information is further provided to a cloud monitoring platform (112) for rescue monitoring. The figure associated with the abstract is Fig. 1.
