Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an IoT-based sustainable water monitoring system for public welfare. The system comprises multiple water quality sensors including pH, turbidity, temperature, and TDS sensors interfaced with a microcontroller unit having wireless communication capability. The sensors continuously monitor water quality parameters and transmit the sensed data to a cloud platform for remote monitoring while simultaneously displaying the data on a local LCD display. The system automatically compares the measured values with predefined threshold limits and generates alert notifications whenever abnormal water quality conditions are detected. The invention enables real-time, continuous, low-cost, and scalable water quality monitoring suitable for municipal, rural, industrial, and public water management applications, thereby supporting sustainable resource management and public health protection.
