Abstract: The current invention describes an intelligent luggage security system which works on the basis of loT technology. The invention targets at offering enhanced security and tracking systems to the suitcases of the traveler through biometrics identification, real-time GPS positioning and alarm clocks. The system includes a microcontroller, fingerprint scanner, GPS. communication interface, motion sensor, and electronic lock. Only when the fingerprint verification is successful, can one have access to the luggage. The system gives the real time position of the luggage and verifies that the luggage does not move suspiciously. The system alerts the user about such strange activity through instant messaging through mobile/cloud platforms. It is an all-inclusive authentication, tracking and monitoring security solution.
