Abstract: Abstract: Post-dental procedure monitoring of oral health is important to ensure the area is free of infection and complications like the creation of pus, loss of balance in the pH of saliva and abnormal bleeding. This project introduces an IoT-based dental health Monitoring System with an ESP32 microcontroller that continuously monitors key dental health parameters in real-time. Oral temperature, moisture level and oral pH of saliva are measured using suitable sensors. Abnormal conditions like possible infection or fever, blood clot indication and saliva imbalance are detected with threshold-based logic. Any abnormal condition that is found will cause a buzzer and visual indicators to alert the user immediately. Also, the ESP32 feature a wireless data transfer ability through WiFi, via which the readings from the sensors and alert status can be seen on a smartphone application through the Blynk IoT platform. This means that patients and/or healthcare professionals can monitor remotely. The proposed system is not only low-cost but also portable and easy to use, enabling the use of such devices for post-surgical dental care and early detection of oral health problems. The system's real-time monitoring and alerts enable timely medical interventions, minimise complications, and enhance patient safety.
