Abstract: ABSTRACT IOT-BASED SMART AQUACULTURE MONITORING SYSTEM WITH PREDICTIVE AERATION CONTROL An IoT-based smart aquaculture water quality monitoring system (100) comprising a submerged IoT sensor node assembly (110) with dissolved oxygen, pH, temperature, ammonia nitrogen, and turbidity sensors deployed in an aquaculture pond. An edge controller unit (120) compares sensor readings against configurable thresholds and activates a paddle wheel aerator (134) through an aeration control module (130) when dissolved oxygen falls below a critical threshold. A predictive depletion alert module (140) fits a linear regression model to dissolved oxygen readings during an evening monitoring window and dispatches early warning alerts when the projected time to critical threshold falls below a configurable lead time. A cloud aquaculture management platform (150) provides a water quality dashboard, mortality risk assessments, and remote parameter configuration. The system addresses overnight dissolved oxygen depletion risk through continuous monitoring, demand-controlled aeration, and predictive early warning. [
