Abstract: ABSTRACT The rapid growth of smart transportation systems has increased the need for intelligent vehicle monitoring and accident detection solutions. This project presents a full-stack IoT-based Smart Accident Detection and Live Vehicle Tracking System using an ESP32 DevKit V1 microcontroller integrated with an MPU6050 accelerometer-gyroscope sensor and a GPS module for real-time motion analysis and location tracking. The system continuously monitors vehicle movement, vibration intensity, tilt angle, and sudden impact conditions using the MPU6050 sensor. When abnormal motion or a crash-like event is detected, the ESP32 instantly captures the geographical coordinates from the GPS module and transmits the data through Wi-Fi to a backend server built with Node.js. The backend processes and stores the sensor and location data in Supabase enabling secure cloud-based real-time database management and authentication. A responsive frontend dashboard developed using React.js provides live visualization of vehicle status, accident alerts, motion graphs, and GPS location tracking on an interactive map. The dashboard allows users and administrators to monitor multiple vehicles remotely, view historical travel records, and receive emergency notifications during accident conditions. The Gesture Control Wheelchair Prototype can be further enhanced in the future by integrating obstacle detection, voice assistance, IoT monitoring, and autonomous navigation features to improve safety and efficiency.
