The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses an IoT-based intelligent precision fertigation and irrigation system comprising a sensing layer having pH, NPK, soil moisture and environmental sensors, a processing layer including an ESP32 microcontroller executing concurrent acquisition, control and communication tasks, a communication layer using MQTT-based cloud connectivity, and an actuation layer comprising irrigation pumps, nutrient dosing pumps and zone valves. The system computes a weighted nutrient deficiency score and applies pH-gated nutrient injection through a five-state control sequence to autonomously regulate water and fertilizer delivery. The architecture enables real-time monitoring, remote configuration and zone-wise precision management while reducing water and fertilizer wastage.
