Abstract: An IoT based power management system for healthcares, comprises of a cuboidal housing 101 associated with the system configured to manage and control flow of electrical power in a health-care environment, incoming and outgoing power and communication wires 102 pass through housing 101 making housing 101 a primary connection point for managing and distributing electrical, a wearable band 201 configured to be worn over wrist of a patient accommodated over bed 103, a sensing module 202 embedded with wearable band 201 to monitor vital health parameters, an imaging unit 104 installed with bed 103 to detect position of patient on bed 103, a display unit mounted on front section of housing to interact with and exchange information, and plurality of pressure sensors 105 embedded within or beneath bed 103 mattress of bed 103 to detect weight distribution and identify presence of a patient on bed 103.
