Abstract: ABSTRACT IOT-BASED MEMS ACCELEROMETER VIBRATION MONITORING SYSTEM FOR PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE OF ROTATING EQUIPMENT An IoT-based machine vibration monitoring system (100) using tri-axial MEMS accelerometer sensor nodes (110) with edge-level FFT frequency domain analysis for continuous predictive maintenance monitoring of rotating industrial equipment (180). Machine-specific baseline profiles are learned by a baseline profile learning module (126) during initial commissioning. A fault classification module (130) distinguishes bearing wear, rotor imbalance, and shaft misalignment from characteristic frequency domain signatures. A remaining useful life estimator (158) generates remaining useful life estimates. An alert subsystem (170) dispatches predictive maintenance alerts with maintenance priority rankings to maintenance personnel. A cloud maintenance dashboard (160) provides historical vibration trends and maintenance event records enabling cost-effective continuous monitoring across non-critical rotating assets. [
