Abstract: The present invention discloses an IoT-Based Intelligent Fire Prediction, Detection, and Prevention System Using Machine Learning and Multi-Sensor Networks for enhancing fire safety in residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional environments. The system comprises a network of interconnected sensors including temperature, smoke, combustible gas, humidity, flame, and air-quality sensors configured to continuously monitor environmental conditions associated with fire hazards. The sensed data are transmitted through an IoT communication module to a cloud-based processing platform for real-time analysis and storage. A machine learning engine processes historical and real-time sensor data to identify abnormal patterns and predict the likelihood of fire occurrence before actual ignition. Based on the predicted fire risk level, the system generates alerts and notifications to authorized users through mobile applications, web dashboards, SMS, or email services. When the predicted risk exceeds a predefined threshold, the system automatically activates preventive mechanisms such as electrical power isolation, ventilation control, and fire suppression units including water sprinklers. The invention minimizes false alarms through multi-parameter analysis, improves emergency response time, and enables proactive fire prevention. The proposed system provides a scalable, intelligent, and cost-effective solution for smart buildings, industries, educational institutions, warehouses, hospitals, and smart city infrastructures, thereby reducing loss of life and property caused by fire incidents.
