MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641085452 A) filed by Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College on July 13, 2026, for Iot-Based Health Analytics: Predicting Diseases Through Breathing State Assessment Using Ai And Deep Learning.

Inventors include R. Vignesh; Dr. P. Jamuna; Dr. S. Anbumalar; and S. Johnpowl.

The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.

Abstract: The titled invention discloses an loT-based smart health monitoring system designed for real-time monitoring of physiological parameters using biomedical sensors, deep learning algorithms, and wireless communication technologies. The system continuously measures ECG signals, heart rate, oxygen saturation (SPO2), and respiratory conditions using sensors interfaced with the Espress if Systems ESP32 microcontroller (3). The ECG probes (1) and pulse oximeter (4) acquire physiological signals, which are amplified by the instrumentation amplifier (2) and processed by the ESP32-S2 controller (3). Extracted features are transmitted through the UART communication module (7) to the PC (6), where a deep learning model predicts abnormalities including cardiac arrhythmias, low oxygen saturation, and respiratory disorders. The prediction results are displayed on the LCD display (5) and transmitted through the loT gateway (8) to cloud storage (9) for remote monitoring. The system automatically generates real-time alerts, enabling timely medical intervention, improved diagnostic accuracy, enhanced patient safety, and efficient telemedicine based healthcare management.
