MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641105996 A) filed by Saveetha Institute Of Medical And Technical Sciences on September 03, 2026, for Iot Based Dynamic Ev Moter Torque Control System.

Inventors include Dr. M. Nagaraj; Dr. K. Ramkumar; Dr. V. Shiva Shankar; and Dr Ramya Mohan.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The purpose of the current innovation is to enhance the effectiveness, performance, and safety of electric cars by developing a dynamic torque control system for EVs that is based on the Internet of Things. The proposed system incorporates sensors, microcontrollers, and wireless communication technologies to monitor vehicle characteristics such as motor load, battery state, speed, and road conditions in real time. Intelligent algorithms on a cloud-based platform receive the gathered data and use it to dynamically modify the torque output of the electric motor. The device improves vehicle acceleration control, lowers battery usage, minimizes motor overheating, and increases energy economy by regulating torque depending on current circumstances. This invention is appropriate for smart mobility systems, electric vehicles, and electric two-wheelers.
