Abstract: The present invention relates to an IoT-based drinking water tank system designed for remote and rural areas. The system integrates water level sensors, water quality monitoring sensors, a microcontroller, and wireless communication modules for real-time monitoring and management of drinking water storage. The invention enables automatic detection of overflow, leakage, contamination, and low water levels, while transmitting data to remote users through mobile or cloud platforms. The system may further operate using solar energy for uninterrupted performance in areas with limited electrical infrastructure. The proposed invention improves drinking water safety, reduces water wastage, and supports efficient water management in rural communities.
