Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an IoT-based baby monitoring system and method for real-time infant health monitoring and remote alert generation. The system comprises a microcontroller unit, temperature and humidity sensor, heartbeat sensor, voice sensor, display unit, wireless communication interface, and IoT cloud platform integration. The system continuously monitors neonatal parameters including temperature, humidity, pulse rate, and crying sound, processes the collected data, and transmits the same to a remote dashboard through Wi-Fi connectivity. Whenever any parameter exceeds predefined safe thresholds, automatic alerts are generated for parents or healthcare professionals. The invention provides a low-cost, portable, and energy-efficient neonatal care solution suitable for hospitals, rural clinics, and home-based infant monitoring.
