Abstract: This invention relates to a decentralized loT assistive communication system providing real- time alerts for individuals with hearing and speech impairments. The system comprises a wearable primary device, a wearable secondary device, and a stationary trigger unit . It addresses the technical problem of missed environmental alerts and emergency situations without requiring internet connectivity. The primary device acts as a central hub, utilizing adaptive protocol switching from Bluetooth Low Energy to an extended-range fallback protocol with periodic restoration attempts. Important attributes of the invention include automated fall detection through the use of motion sensors, manual activation through an SOS button, and power saving modes of communication using non-volatile memory. In case of a trigger, a - combination of visual, tactile, and audio alarms will be activated simultaneously on all units. The system provides for reliable two-way communication between user and caregiver.
