MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641048384 A) filed by Hindusthan College Of Arts & Science on April 16, 2026, for Iot Based Air Quality Monitoring System.

Inventors include Dr. R. Rangaraj; Dr. Nibin Mathew; Dr. T. Kavitha; Dr. R. S. Karthick; Dr. R. Megala; and Dr. M. Dhanasekar.

Abstract: The system makes use of the ESP8266 Node MCU microcontroller, the MQ-135 Gas Sensor for air quality detection, and DHT11 Sensor for temperature and humidity measurements. Data is gathered by the microcontroller and displayed on an LCD display for local monitoring, whereas mobile applications enable users to remotely monitor environmental conditions, real-time data is delivered to the BlynkloT platform· via Wi-Fi connectivity.
