Inventors include Swetha V; Sathiya A; and Dr. Amgelin S. Kiruba.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: Abstract 5 10 This invention presents a remote monitoring system for patients with rare blood disorders using an loT-enabled healthcare architecture. The system integrates multiple biomedical sensors, including PPG, ECG, temperature, blood pressure, and respiration sensors, to continuously capture real-time physiological data. An ESP32-WROOM-32 microcontroller is used for local data acquisition, signal conditioning, noise reduction, and synchronization of sensor outputs before transmission. Wireless communication is achieved through a XBee S2C ZigBee-based mesh network, enabling low-power and reliable data transfer between wearable sensor nodes and a central gateway. The collected data is transmitted to a cloud platform where rule-based analysis is performed to detect abnormal physiological patterns. The system generates real-time alerts for healthcare providers when deviations from normal thresholds are identified. This integrated approach enables continuous patient monitoring, early diagnosis support, and timely medical intervention, thereby improving healthcare management for individuals suffering from rare blood disorders.!
