Abstract: The proposed system focuses on the development of a battery-powered smart humidification and eye monitoring system using ESP32 with IoT connectivity. The main objective of this project is to monitor environmental conditions and human eye activity to prevent dryness and improve eye health. The system integrates a DHT11 sensor to measure temperature and humidity levels in real time. A gas sensor is used to detect air quality and harmful gases that may affect eye comfort and safety. An infrared (IR) sensor is employed to detect and count eye blinks per minute, which serves as an important indicator of eye strain and dryness. The ESP32 microcontroller acts as the central processing unit, collecting data from all sensors and transmitting it to a cloud platform through Wi-Fi. The system continuously analyzes humidity levels and blink rate to determine the eye condition of the user. If the humidity level drops below a predefined threshold or blink rate decreases abnormally, the system automatically activates a humidification mechanism to maintain optimal moisture in the environment. Alerts and real-time data are displayed on a mobile application or web dashboard using IoT technology. The battery-powered design ensures portability and allows the system to be used in various environments such as homes, offices, and healthcare settings. The integration of multiple sensors enhances the accuracy and reliability of the system. The proposed solution is cost-effective, energy efficient, and user-friendly. It reduces the risk of dry eye syndrome caused by prolonged screen usage and poor environmental conditions. The system also helps in maintaining air quality for better overall health. The use of ESP32 enables fast processing and seamless wireless communication. The data collected can be stored for further analysis and future improvements. The system can be expanded with additional sensors and automation features. This project demonstrates the effective use of IoT in healthcare monitoring applications. It provides a smart and automated approach to maintaining eye comfort and environmental safety. The design is compact and suitable for wearable or desktop implementation. The system ensures continuous monitoring without manual intervention. Overall, the proposed system improves quality of life by combining eye monitoring with smart humidification. It offers a practical and innovative solution for modern digital lifestyle challenges.
