Abstract: ABSTRACT The rapid growth of renewable energy systems has increased the reliance on inverters for efficient power conversion. However, conventional monitoring solutions are often limited to basic display panels or offline data logging, making it difficult to track inverter performance, detect faults early, and optimize energy efficiency. There is a clear need for a compact, intelligent, and user-friendly monitoring device that provides real-time insights and remote accessibility. An loT-enabled Inverter Energy Performance Monitoring Device is proposed to address these limitations. The system continuously tracks inverter parameters such as voltage, current, power factor, efficiency, and temperature, transmitting data to a cloud-based platform for real-time monitoring and analytics. Through a smartphone or web application, users can remotely view performance metrics, set threshold alerts, and receive notifications on abnormal conditions. The device supports automated logging, historical trend visualization, and energy efficiency reporting to help optimize inverter operation The compact design allows easy installation alongside inverters in residential, commercial, or industrial setups. The device ensures safety through overvoltage, overcurrent, and thermal protection mechanisms, while a robust communication protocol guarantees reliable data transmission. By combining loT connectivity, precise energy measurement, and user-friendly control, the system enhances operational efficiency, predictive maintenance, and overall energy management The proposed device represents a modem, intelligent, and portable approach to inverter energy performance monitoring, enabling both technical and non-technical users to improve energy efficiency, reduce downtime, and maintain safe inverter operations
