MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611098976 A) filed by Shriya Sharma on August 16, 2026, for Intravenous Source-Transfer Assembly.

Inventor includes Shriya Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed is an intravenous source-transfer assembly comprising active-source and replacement-source inlets, a patient outlet, a common delivery passage, an isolated conditioning chamber, a captive air-storage chamber, and a priming-volume chamber. First and second isolation barriers separate the replacement-source pathway and conditioning chamber from the patient outlet. A transfer-enabling latch retains the first isolation barrier in a closed position. Replacement fluid received through the priming-volume chamber moves a liquid-driven transfer member through successive portions of a transfer stroke. The movement closes communication with the captive air-storage chamber, closes communication from the active-source inlet, and establishes an intermediate state in which both source inlets remain separated from the patient outlet. Continued movement releases the transfer-enabling latch and opens a conditioned replacement-source pathway to the common delivery passage.
