Abstract: Interim-Diffusion is an AI-powered web application that enables users to redesign interior spaces using natural language prompts while preserving the original room layout. The system integrates a Next.js fiĀ·ontend with a FastAPI backend and employs a Stable Diffusion image-to-image pipeline to generate realistic interior transformations. Users can upload an image, input prompts in English or Tamil, and view the redesigned output alongside the original image for easy comparison. The backend preprocesses images by resizing and converting them into a suitable format, while also supporting multilingual input through automatic language detection and translation. A structured system prompt guides the model to maintain spatial consistency, enhance lighting, and improve textures, while a negative prompt reduces distortions and unrealistic outputs. Designed for efficient local execution, the system is also scalable to advanced models like Stable Diffusion XL and ControlNet, making it a practical solution for intelligent and interactive interior design.
