The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT INTERACTIVE MEDICAL IMAGING SIMULATOR WITH DYNAMIC DATA INTEGRATION FOR ULTRASOUND TRAINING The present invention provides an interactive ultrasound simulation system and method for patient specific ultrasound training are disclosed. The system comprises a physical manikin embedded with sensors for tracking position and orientation of a dummy ultrasound probe relative to the manikin, a dummy ultrasound probe configured to provide tactile or haptic feedback, a processing unit, and a display unit. The processing unit executes a data conversion engine configured to convert pre acquired volumetric medical imaging data, including computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) datasets of real patients, into ultrasound equivalent image representations. Real time simulated ultrasound images are dynamically generated by extracting imaging planes from the converted dataset based on real time tracking of probe translation, rotation, tilt, and applied pressure, and are rendered on the display unit at an interactive frame rate. In certain embodiments, the system includes a data management module for importing, anonymizing, cataloging, and selectively storing multiple patient specific datasets, as well as mechanisms for recording probe motion and generated images for performance assessment and training feedback.
