Abstract: INTERACTIVE MECHANICAL WALL ART ABSTRACT This project presents the design and implementation of an interactive mechanical wall mi installation featuring a Sx5 grid of touch-responsive, servo-driven panels controlled via a custom smartphone app. Each of the 25 acrylic panels (8"x8") tilts smoothly and silently up to 30° using vibration-damped SG90 servos, responding to capacitive touch inputs with dynamic ripple effects thaLpropagate_ outward from interaction points. The systenLintegrates an ESP32 microcontroller with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity for wireless control, enabling users to select from multiple pre- programmed motion patterns (wave, spiral, pulse, and random) and adjust animation speed through an intuitive MIT App Inventor-based Android app. Additional features include gesture recognition via infrared sensors, modular expandability for larger installations, and energyefficient operation with automatic sleep mode. The installation combines artistic expression with technological innovation, creating an engaging user experience through responsive physical motion and customizable digital interaction.
