MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611101530 A) filed by Chandigarh University on August 22, 2026, for Intent-Decay Controlled Autonomous Computing System With Residual Artefact Neutralization.
Inventor includes Siddharth Arora.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses an intent-decay controlled autonomous computing system configured to govern a lifecycle of digitally expressed intents across software, embedded devices, autonomous systems, and distributed computing environments. The system continuously evaluates validity, contextual alignment, and ethical permissibility of an originating intent during execution and detects intent decay based on fulfilment, invalidation, temporal expiry, or contextual drift. An intent lifecycle controller associates autonomous digital actions with the originating intent and restricts continued execution according to an intent lifecycle state. Upon detection of intent decay, the system autonomously terminates associated digital actions and initiates residual artefact neutralization. The residual artefact neutralization includes identifying and neutralizing associated data objects, cached or replicated data, permissions, access tokens, intermediate outputs, and derivative traces. Following termination and neutralization, the originating intent is transitioned to a dissolved state, thereby preventing uncontrolled persistence, orphaned processes, unauthorized continued execution, and unintended retention of intent-derived digital artefacts.
