MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611068505 A) filed by Chandigarh University on June 01, 2026, for Intent-Decay Computing System For Automatic Dissolution Of Obsolete Digital Actions.
Inventor includes Siddharth Arora.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an intent-decay computing system for automatic dissolution of obsolete digital actions designed for the automatic dissolution of obsolete digital actions and associated artefacts. It introduces intent as a machine-interpretable entity that defines the purpose, scope, and validity conditions of digital data, automated actions, and machine-generated decisions. Each digital entity is bound to an intent descriptor and continuously monitored through a structured lifecycle model. When the intent is fulfilled, invalidated, or expires contextually, the system detects intent decay and initiates a controlled dissolution workflow. This workflow encompasses the neutralization of operational actions, elimination of primary and derived artefacts, verification of residuals, and audit closure. Unlike conventional deletion systems that rely solely on time-based or static policy rules, the invention enables purpose-aware and context-sensitive governance of digital existence without requiring manual intervention.
