The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a wearable safety ring incorporating a flexible printed circuit board, Bluetooth Low Energy communication, capacitive touch sensing, intelligent power management, and haptic feedback for rapid personal emergency response. The wearable device integrates a flexible electronic circuit, BLE-enabled microcontroller, capacitive touch controller, rechargeable lithium-polymer battery, battery protection circuitry, charging module, voltage regulator, and vibration motor within a compact finger-ring structure. A predefined single-touch gesture activates an emergency notification, while a multi-touch gesture generates an escalated SOS alert indicating increased emergency severity. Emergency notifications are wirelessly transmitted to a paired smartphone through a BLE Generic Attribute Profile (GATT) protocol, enabling immediate dissemination of emergency information and location details to predefined contacts. Bidirectional communication allows the recipient to remotely acknowledge alert reception by activating the ring's vibration motor. The invention provides discreet operation, ultra-low power consumption, rapid response, enhanced reliability, comfortable continuous wear, and improved accessibility for individuals requiring immediate emergency assistance in critical situations. .
