The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based emergency response system for autonomously detecting, assessing, localizing and prioritizing persons in disaster-affected environments. The system comprises an imaging unit, positioning_ unit, . . altitude/proximity sensor, onboard edge-computing unit and flight controller. A human-detection module identifies persons from aerial image frames, while pose estimation and temporal-motion analysis determine their postural and mobility conditions. A priority classification module assigns urgency levels based on the assessed condition. A geo-tagging module combines image-space detection data with UAV position and attitude information to determine the geographic location of each detected person. The location, condition and priority data are processed by a languagebased reasoning module to generate a rescue report, which is converted into an audible alert through a text-to-speech module. The UAV can autonomously follow a search path and maintain hover during assessment, thereby providing an integrated edge-based rescue intelligence system without continuous dependence on cloud infrastructure.
