Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent threat detection system for women safety (1) configured to automatically detect potential threats and generate real-time emergency alerts. The system (1) comprises an input acquisition unit (11) having a camera (12) and a microphone (13), a data pre-processing unit (21), a gender detection module (22), an audio analysis module (23), a behaviour and action recognition module (31), and a threat evaluation engine (41) configured to analyse visual, audio, and behavioural information for identifying unsafe situations. An edge processing unit (51) enables low-latency processing, while a data storage unit (61) stores event information. Upon detection of a threat, an alert and notification module (71) automatically transmits notifications to a mobile application (72), a security unit (73), and emergency contacts (74). An event logging and evidence unit (81) securely records incident data for subsequent investigation and evidence management.
