Abstract: The present invention provides an intelligent artificial intelligence-based system for contextual interpretation of English literary texts. The system receives literary content and processes the content into structural and textual units for linguistic and semantic analysis. A semantic analysis module generates contextual representations, while a literary feature analysis module identifies literary devices, stylistic characteristics, symbolic expressions, emotional characteristics, and narrative elements. A contextual relationship module establishes relationships among passages, characters, events, concepts, literary features, and themes. An interpretation engine combines the resulting representations and generates contextual interpretations including literal, figurative, symbolic, emotional, thematic, and narrative meanings. Supporting textual evidence is associated with each generated interpretation to improve transparency and contextual relevance. The resulting interpretation is presented through an interactive interface, thereby enabling users to examine literary meaning together with the contextual factors and textual evidence contributing to such interpretation.
