Abstract: The present invention relates to an electromedical stimulation device (100) configured to deliver pulsed-current stimulation and direct-current stimulation through electrodes (130). The electromedical stimulation device (100) comprises a control unit (105), a power supply module (110), a pulse generator (115), a DC output module (120), a switching circuit (125), electrodes (130), and a sensor module (135). The control unit (105) controls the pulse generator (115), the DC output module (120), and the switching circuit (125) to selectively route pulsed current or direct current to the electrodes (130) based on a selected stimulation mode and feedback from the sensor module (135). The sensor module (135) senses feedback parameters at or near an electrode-skin interface (300) for stimulation regulation or safety response.
