Abstract: ABSTRACT INTELLIGENT RESTROOM ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY SYSTEM WITH SYNCHRONIZED MULTI-SENSOR SAMPLING AND TIERED EMERGENCY ESCALATION An intelligent restroom environmental safety system (100) includes a biometric authentication module (104) configured to verify an identity of an occupant and energize a relay-gated power rail (106) supplying a sensor and actuation subsystem. Environmental sensors (108) include a first gas sensor (110) positioned proximate to a fixture zone, a second gas sensor (112) positioned at an ambient zone, a human presence sensor (114), and a proximity sensor (116). A hardware timer interrupt module (118) triggers a synchronized sample-and-hold operation that latches readings from the environmental sensors (108) within a shared sampling window of less than one millisecond. A differential odor localization module (120) computes a differential value between readings from the first gas sensor (110) and the second gas sensor (112). An automatic flush actuator (122) is gated by a vacate-confirmation sequence. A manual emergency actuator (124) bypasses a no-motion escalation timer to trigger immediate emergency escalation. A passive no-motion detection module (126) executes a tiered escalation state machine. A dual- channel alert module (128) is powered by an independent power reserve (130) comprising a photovoltaic source and a supercapacitor.
