Abstract: ABSTRACT Intelligent Radar-Based Multimodal Navigation Aid for Visually Impaired Persons The present invention relates to an intelligent navigation aid comprising an ESP32 microcontroller (10), RCWL-0516 radar module (20), MPU6050 IMU sensor (30), GSM/GPS module (40), vibration motor (50), audio buzzer (60), Li-Ion battery (70), boost converter (80), and SOS button (90). The radar module (20) detects surrounding stationary and moving objects, while the IMU sensor (30) provides motion and orientation information. The ESP32 microcontroller (10) combines the sensing information and executes a confidence-based PADA algorithm for determining a threat level. Based on the threat level, tactile and audio warnings are generated through the vibration motor (50) and buzzer (60). Direction-and- severity-aware feedback may further differentiate warning patterns. Upon fall-like motion or SOS activation, the GSM/GPS module (40) obtains location information and transmits an emergency alert to predefined contacts. The system provides portable, real-time navigation and emergency assistance for visually impaired users. Figure-1
