Abstract: ABSTRACT [1] The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence–based multimodal system for detecting phishing attacks across emails, websites, messages, images, and other digital communication channels. Conventional phishing detection methods often rely on individual indicators such as URLs, keywords, or sender information, which may fail against sophisticated and rapidly changing attacks. [2] The proposed system integrates multiple data modalities, including text content, URLs, webpage structure, images, sender information, and visual elements. These inputs are preprocessed and jointly analyzed to identify suspicious patterns, malicious intent, impersonation, and fraudulent content. [3] A multimodal AI model combines natural language processing, computer vision, and URL or webpage feature analysis to generate a unified phishing-risk score. The system can detect various phishing techniques, including deceptive links, fake login pages, brand impersonation, malicious attachments, and socially engineered messages. [4] When suspicious activity is identified, the system generates an alert and provides a risk classification with supporting indicators. The architecture may support real-time detection through edge or cloud-based processing and can continuously improve using newly identified phishing patterns. [5] The proposed invention provides accurate and adaptive phishing detection by combining complementary information from multiple modalities. It reduces dependence on single-feature detection, improves protection against sophisticated attacks, and supports safer digital communication and online transactions.
