MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611096053 A) filed by Chandigarh University on August 08, 2026, for Intelligent Modular Radar System With Ai-Ml-Based Detection, Magnetic Disruption, And Mechanical Countermeasures.

Inventors include Devyansh Batra; and Er. Aaskaran Bishnoi.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a general-purpose intelligent radar system integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity, and a novel magnetic modular mounting mechanism. The radar employs advanced AI/ML models to accurately detect, classify, and distinguish among drones, birds, vehicles, humans, and other objects in real time, thereby significantly reducing false alarms. An IoT-enabled communication module facilitates remote monitoring, cloud-based data storage, predictive analytics, and centralized management through mobile and web applications. Additionally, an integrated trajectory prediction module forecasts the movement of detected objects to support defense, autonomous transportation, traffic monitoring, and surveillance applications. The system incorporates an energy-efficient architecture powered by a rechargeable battery with optional solar charging, enabling reliable long-duration operation in remote and field environments.
