Abstract: The Intelligent Infant Monitoring System using IoT is an advanced healthcare monitoring solution designed to improve the safety and continuous observation of infants inside neonatal incubators. Traditional infant care methods often require manual monitoring by nurses and doctors, which can be time-consuming and may delay immediate response during critical conditions. Existing monitoring systems mainly focus on basic temperature regulation and lack integrated smart monitoring features that allow caregivers to observe multiple infant parameters remotely. This invention introduces a compact embedded system integrated with an Arduino Uno, ESP32 Wi- Fi module, multiple health monitoring sensors, and a TFT display unit that continuously tracks important infant conditions. The system measures parameters such as baby body temperature, environmental temperature, infant weight, cry detection, and wet detection using dedicated sensors placed within the incubator environment. These sensors collect data and send it to the microcontroller, where the signals are processed and converted into meaningful monitoring information. The processed data is displayed in real time on a 3.5-inch TFT display, enabling caregivers to quickly observe the infant's status near the incubator. Simultaneously, the ESP32 module transmits the collected sensor data to a cloud database using IoT connectivity, allowing doctors and parents to monitor the infant's health conditions remotely through a mobile application.
