Abstract: The Intelligent Garbage Monitoring and Management System Using Artificial Intelligence and IoT is an advanced smart waste management solution developed to improve cleanliness, reduce environmental pollution, and increase the efficiency of garbage collection processes. Traditional waste collection methods require regular manual inspection of bins, which often leads to overflowing garbage bins, unpleasant surroundings, health hazards, and inefficient use of manpower and fuel. To overcome these problems, this system uses Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, and GPS technology for automated and real-time waste monitoring. The system continuously monitors the garbage level in bins using sensors installed inside the waste containers. The collected data is processed and analyzed using AI-based techniques to determine the fill status of the bins such as low, medium, or full. When the garbage level exceeds a predefined limit, the system automatically sends alerts and notifications to the waste management authorities through a mobile or web application. GPS technology is also integrated to track the location of garbage collection vehicles and optimize collection routes for faster and more efficient waste disposal. The proposed system helps in preventing overflow of bins, reducing unnecessary collection trips, saving time and fuel, and maintaining hygienic public environments. It also supports smart city development by enabling efficient waste management through automation and intelligent monitoring. The system is cost-effective, eco-friendly, reliable, and suitable for use in residential areas, public places, institutions, industries, and urban environments.
