Abstract: The present invention an intelligent dental anesthesia delivery device is disclosed for controlled administration of a dental anesthetic using real-time nerve localization and pain-response feedback. The device comprises a handheld delivery unit, a replaceable anesthetic cartridge, a motor-driven metering pump, a needle assembly, a multimodal nerve-localization module, physiological response sensors, and a controller. The localization module combines ultrasound, tissue-impedance, and needle-tip pressure data to generate a continuously updated nerve-proximity map. The physiological response sensors acquire one or more of pulse rate, skin conductance, facial muscle activity, and patient-operated discomfort input. The controller regulates injection flow, pressure, and delivered volume within clinician-defined limits and pauses delivery when unsafe pressure, possible vascular entry, excessive patient response, or low localization confidence is detected. A clinician interface displays needle position, nerve proximity, injection parameters, cumulative dose, and alerts. The device improves targeting accuracy, reduces painful high-pressure injection, supports patient-specific delivery, and retains clinician authority over anesthetic administration.
