Abstract: Abstract INTELLIGENT DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR REAL-TIME FALL RISK ASSESSMENT AND CUSTOMIZED MOBILITY ASSISTANCE USING WEARABLE SENSOR DATA A system for real-time wearable fall-risk decision support includes a Wearable Sensor Nodes, a Synchronization Unit, a Gait- State Estimator, a Instability Decision Engine, and a User and Caregiver Interface. The system receives body-worn inertial data, foot-pressure data, body orientation, turning rate, and recent instability events. The acquired observations are checked for quality, source association, and timing before a model-ready representation is generated. The Gait-State Estimator produces an analytical result and a confidence indication. The Instability Decision Engine applies a stored response criterion and determines whether to release an output, request reacquisition, or require review. The User and Caregiver Interface provides an immediate warning, movement instruction, and caregiver event notification. The system particularly performs detecting an instability episode during an ongoing walking activity and selecting context- specific assistance. An event record stores input identifiers, a processing version, the analytical result, and the delivered response to maintain traceability between acquisition, processing, and output.
