Abstract: An intelligent context-aware digital library navigation system [100] is disclosed. The system comprises a user interface module [102] running on a platform processor to receive a conversational query string. A conversational memory module [104] allocates a transient session identifier to the query string and tracks dialogue context using a rolling metadata matrix. An NLP and semantic search module [106] segments unstructured library documents into semantic text chunks and stores their dense vector representations in a localized vector database [108]. A retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) engine [110] pulls top-scoring vector chunks matching the query context to construct an instruction-bounded prompt payload for a large language model [112], producing a conversational response. A post-processing factuality guardrail and attribution mapper [114] validates response assertions against the source text chunks and appends unique clickable persistent identifiers to verified segments.
